A user has posted a photo of their DJI FPV Goggles V2 with an abnormal-looking green line partially going across the display. The user posted the photo yesterday after the green line began to appear only after using the goggles a few times.

Some good news today: DJI customer Bryan Bailey has received a brand-new DJI FPV Drone Combo. Readers might recall that Bryan was the earlier unfortunate recipient of a box that contained an actual brick and a bit of stuffing.

We know the successor to the Mavic Air 2 is on its way, based on this FCC filing. We know it will likely contain a new sensor, the IMX686 capable of taking 64 MP photos, with 4K at 60 fps. And now, at least according to a source, we’re told it will be compatible with the new V2 Goggles.

We’ve had a lot of interest in our story about Bryan Bailey. He’s the guy who made a large DJI order (some $2,400 in all), the core of which was the DJI FPV Combo. When it was delivered to his door, the box contained a brick and some upholstery stuffing.

The dust has not yet settled on the release of the new DJI FPV drone and some have started imagining what the company’s next foray into the FPV sector might look like. One answer? Smaller.

SmallRig, best known for its camera cages, has entered the drone market with its accessories line for the DJI FPV drone. The company has two products on offer to improve the aerodynamics of the drone and allow for an extra camera to be mounted to the drone.

Arguably the biggest tech YouTuber, Marques Brownlee (MKBHD) has taken the DJI FPV drone for a spin with a high-speed electric car. While the video is focused on the drone and the car, some other tech makes its way into the video, making it even more worth watching.

There’s no doubt that DJI products are stable. That’s part of the reason they’re so popular with people around the world. And the new FPV model? Well, in the right modes, it’s child’s play.
