Drone delivery company Volansi has announced it will be working with three of the nine FAA BEYOND participants to speed up drone integration. The company will work with the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), the North Dakota Department of Transportation, and the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation and Northern Plains UAS Test Site has partnered with industry leaders, including Skydio, Volansi, SkySkopes, iSight Drone Services, Airspace Link, Equinor, Workhorse, and Xcel Energy, to execute the FAA’s BEYOND program goals.

Zing Drone Deliveries has announced it has joined the FAA’s BEYOND program to develop and scale drone delivery operations in the US. Zing will be working with the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) to test out drone deliveries in the state under the BEYOND program.

U.S. Secretary of Transportation Elaine L. Chao has announced a new drone integration initiative called BEYOND to tackle the rest of the issues facing drones. The news comes after the Integration Pilot Program (IPP) successfully ended on October 25th.
