DJI just released their latest firmware update for the DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 (v01.00.22.00). It seems to be a small update that optimizes the sensitivity of the remote controller’s right stick when adjusting camera parameters and another issue related to the restarting the remote controller and not resetting to the correct mode. DJI just released a new firmware update for the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom and Pro models. This is version v01.00.01.00. The update promises to improve ActiveTrack 2.0, improved photo quality for panoramas, aircraft stability and will allow you to adjust the flight speed and duration for Hyperlapse among other things. I haven’t had a chance myself to update my drone yet but will do so later today. You can find the official release notes from DJI here.
Yesterday, Chinese drone-maker, DJI released a new firmware update for their Phantom 4 Pro/Pro+ V2.0 series of drones. This is firmware version v01.00.20.00 and it includes added support for Ground Station Pro (GS Pro), updating the video transmission system to OcuSync 2.0 and more. Especially the upgrade to OcuSync 2.0 for the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 is a very welcome improvement as it should make for a much better connection in dense urban areas where there is more interference. DJI just released new firmware for the Mavic Pro. This is version v01.04.0500. The previous firmware update was early in July. On the DJI Forums, people have reported that this firmware does not change anything to the drone or the controller, but is merely for the DJI Goggles. Since the Goggles are updated through the Mavic Pro, you will have to do this in order to make the DJI Goggles compatible with the Mavic 2 Zoom and Pro drones.
Earlier today when I finally had the chance to start up our own DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone, I was notified of the new firmware that was available for the aircraft. The update was originally released on August 23rd, the same that DJI held their event. The company tells us that after updating we can enjoy the new features such as “Hyperlapse”, “Dolly Zoom”(Mavic 2 Zoom), and “Super Resolution”(Mavic 2 Zoom) to experience the amazing shooting effect of the Mavic 2. DJI just released a new firmware update for the Mavic Air – V01.00.0400. It is strongly recommended by the Chinese drone manufacturer to update your drone. However, keep in mind that once you do so, you will not be able to revert to the old version. This new firmware update does not include the waypoints we have all been asking for. However, there is another solution to fix that problem.

DJI just released a new firmware update for the DJI Mavic Air drone. Version: v01.00.0200. Waypoints have not yet been added to the Mavic Air. One thing the firmware seems to have fixed is the shaking that happened in cold temperature. See this video for more info on that. Other than that, it seems that this firmware update addresses a number of bugs and small issues.

DJI has started to introduce new features for their ‘electronic license plate’ system for drones, called Aeroscope, in their latest firmware updates. The new features allow drone pilots to voluntarily identify their flight operations to law enforcement agencies.
Time to update your DJI GO 4 app to version 4.1.20 if you (or your phone) haven’t done so already.
DJI just released a new firmware update for the DJI Spark drone. Version: V01.00.0800
DJI released new firmware for the DJI Mavic Pro and Platinum. This is update V01.04.0100 and it follows on the heels of the updated DJI Go 4 app. The new firmware includes a number of improvements, most notably the addition of the pano shooting modes. This firmware update also covers the DJI Goggles.
You can now update your DJI Spark drone to the latest firmware version. Some of the newly added features foir your Spark are: Shere Panorama, Dynamic Home Point, Low Battery Return to Home will no longer trigger automatically in Gesture mode, save Wi-Fi frequency, improved stability and security.
