The photos being featured typically follow a theme and are meant to inspire fellow drone users to get out there and get clicking. The themes for weeks 1 and 2 are drone portraits and creatures, respectively.

Over 30,000 submissions from aerial photographers and videographers from 141 different countries for the Skypixel 2018 Aerial Storytelling Contest that was co-organized with DJI. In the Video Category the grand prize winner is Ain Raadik shared a collection of adventures from his travels across New Zealand, Japan & around his home in Australia. and in the Photo Category, Deryk Baumgartner takes home the grand prize. He shot that awesome image of Mont Saint Michel with his DJI Mavic Pro.

SkyPixel and DJI kick off the biggest aerial photo and video contest of 2018

Like they did before, DJI and SkyPixel are starting the largest aerial photo and video contest. The competition will run from December 18th, 2018 to February 18th, 2019 and we expect many amazing photos and videos to be submitted. Contestants can win a range of prizes, including a Hasselblad X1D-50c camera, DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone and the new Osmo Pocket three-axis stabilized gimbal. See below for all the details.

DJI launched a new “Free Trail Program” that will allow you to receive your DJI Mavic Air sooner through a special Mavic Air priority shipping code.
