Drone footage captured in Alabama and Florida has shown the full extent of destruction caused by Hurricane Sally on September 16. Hurricane Sally hit the Gulf Coast of Alabama early Wednesday morning as a category two storm.

A drone video has been released showing the aftermath left by Hurricane Dorian that hit the Bahamas earlier this week. The video gives us an insight into the damage and destruction caused by the deadly hurricane as the cleanup and restoration process begins.
The first drone footage is emerging from Mexico Beach, Florida and it shows the widespread devastation that was caused by the Category 4 storm that made landfall on Wednesday. As you can see in this drone video, a large part of the small town is simply gone.
The Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) has sent out a warning to all their members, urging all UAS operators or drone pilots not to fly before, during and after Hurrican Florence as it will interfere with emergency response and relief efforts.
As Florence, a Category 4 hurricane is making its way toward the US East coast, Robbie Bischoff took his drone out last evening to record the deserted town of Myrtle Beach, SC. The video shows many dark and boarded-up buildings. When watching the video you will also notice that there are hardly any cars on the streets anymore. It seems that most people have left the beach town in search of a safer place to stay.
