DJI partners with Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy to help future architects and engineers. Since drones have become more popular, we have seen many universities and colleges around the world launch drone courses, including one in Florida. An Italian Drone Academy uses a dramatic video of a very serious staged drone accident to underscore the importance of drone education for pilots of all skill levels. We already know that improved education has helped to reduce the relative growth of drone incidents in Germany. The academy has created this video to drive home that point.
An estimated 10 million drones will be sold globally this year. About 3 million of them will be sold here in the US and among the new drone pilots are many young people. Schools and colleges have taken notice and have started different drone programs and classes.
