Autel Robotics has released a few new drones at CES this year – its heavily leaked Dragonfish VTOL and the new EVO 2 RTK series of drones. Autel teased the launch of the new products last week, to which we then speculated about the drones it would release.

Autel Robotics has announced on social media that it will be releasing new products this week during CES 2021. The company could release its Dragonfish VTOL drone and the leaked RTK version of its EVO 2 Pro and EVO 2 Dual foldable drones.

Late last month, Autel Robotics’ Dragonfish drone hit the FCC, suggesting a near release. Now the controller for it has also passed through, meaning it is ready to go for a U.S. launch. The controller features a large touch-screen and comes with an all-in-one charge for it and the drone.

The new drone was released on Autel’s website earlier in the year, surprising us all.

The Autel Robotics Dragonfish was first shown publicly back at CES in 2017 as a prototype and has slowly evolved over the last three years. The Dragonfish is now featured on Autel’s website with a maximum flight time of 120 minutes and a maximum video transmission range of 18.6 miles.
