Today’s drone video – Knife in the ocean

Good morning, today’s drone video is from the hand of – GECOtzt-. The video was shot with a DJI Mavic Pro, a GoPro 6 and a Canon 6D and 70D. The video happens to focus on one of my favorite pastimes, kiteboarding. Can’t wait for Spring to start and temperatures to rise… Wait a minute… ;-)

Knife in the ocean

Sweet video of foil-kiteboarding. The foil is the wing you see underwater that lifts the board out of the water once it reaches sufficient speed. Using a foil is a whole new experience because once you’re above the water all the resistance from waves and chop is gone. You’re now flying over the ocean with almost no sound and no effort. Like a knife in the ocean. And, yes, it is as cool as it looks.

The video was shot at a much more exotic location than New York and a DJI Mavic Pro was used among other equipment. Unfortunately, we do not have a ton more info on the short film, but its definitely worth watching.  So, grab a cup of coffee and check it out!
