DJI adds construction section to their website

In advance of their annual Airworks Expo, which will take place in Dallas Texas later this month, DJI just added a new section to their website aimed at the construction market. The Chinese drone maker specifically targets real estate marketing, site mapping, and building inspection within the larger construction industry. Drone solutions that are suggested by DJI, include the Phantom 4, the Inspire and the Matrice 200.

DJI solutions for the construction market

In advance of their annual Airworks Expo, which will take place in Dallas Texas later this month, DJI just added a new section to their website aimed at the construction market. The Chinese drone maker specifically targets real estate marketing, site mapping, and building inspection within the larger construction industry.

For real estate marketing dji says that: “Aerial photos and videos allow properties to be showcased in new and creative ways, adding to the allure while also illustrating the surrounding environs.” Drones such as the Phantom 4 Pro can help in capturing stunning aerial photos but also to create a 3D model of the property.

Site mapping can be completed quickly and regularly with drone solutions from DJI. Doing so will help to prevent large change orders. It will also help to keep you up-to-date with the latest changes at the construction project where often times different tasks are overlapping each other.

Performing building inspections oftentimes put people’s lives at risk. It requires people to walk across rooftops, clamber along walls and the construction of scaffolding. In many cases, this work can be performed faster, cheaper and more safely with the use of drones. DJI offers the Inspire and Matrice 200 drones that can be outfitted with various cameras and sensors. Including a dual gimbal solution and the Zenmuse XT2, which combines the FLIR Tau 2 thermal sensor and 4K visual camera.
