Amazing drone photos of the year 2017

Previously aerial photos could only be made from helicopters or airplanes and therefore it was the almost exclusive terrain of professional photographers who could afford to rent these aircrafts for special assignments. However, with the arrival of affordable consumer drones, such as the DJI Mavic Pro and Phantom series, aerial photography has become much more accessible. As a result, mere mortals now deliver some of the most amazing photos, we’ve ever seen.

Amazing drone photos

One such a group of aerial photography enthusiasts or drone photo lovers have joined a group called Dronestagram. Out of all the shared drone photos in 2017, the moderators have selected their favorites. The winning photos cover a wide range of topics as you can see in the photo gallery below. They include #straightdown photos, such as the Portuguese beach as well as more creative photos, for instance, the one displaying the window washers hanging alongside the Mercury City Tower in Moscow (my favorite). Other amazing drone photos in this selection show a polar bear, a tiny house on an island in New York, quad bikes in Namibia and more.

Which one is your favorite? Let us know in the comments below.
